Plant City event to celebrate planes, trains and automobiles

The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring ‘Planes, Trains and Automobiles’ which will take place in Plant City this weekend.

The event will feature real airplanes, model train exhibits, exciting car displays, food for sale, K-9 demonstrations, a DJ, karaoke, a children’s play area, live entertainment, and various commercial vendors. The EAA Young Eagles Program will also be providing 100 free plane rides for those aged 8-17. During the event, Boy Scouts will have the opportunity to add to their badges in fields like rescue and aviation, and there will probably be some activity to appeal to every member of the family, regardless of whether or not they are keen on transport.

Vendors will likely be selling transportation-related items such as car accessories, model train parts, T-shirts with pictures of cars or airplanes on them, and driving gloves. Many of them will no doubt be working with Plant City print companies to prepare for this sure-to-be-popular event. Vendors might want to invest in banner printing services to help draw attention to their booths and to their products. One advantage of this is that any banners printed can also be reused for future events.

‘Planes, Trains and Automobiles’ will take place at the Plant City Airport this Saturday, March 23, from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Admission is free and parking is $5. Call the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce at 813-754-3707, or visit the Plant City website to find out more.
