Florida Mall to expand food pavilion and retail space

The Florida Mall located in Orlando recently announced that it will be undergoing significant changes in its retail and food offerings by adding 100,000 square feet to the existing space. Mall officials are likely to be turning to flyer printing to create and distribute material throughout Central Florida as a way to broadcast this announcement and attract more people.

Mall officials said that there will 16 different eateries in a redeveloped food pavilion with more options focused on healthy fare. There will also be room for twice as many people to sit in the pavilion in greater comfort with places for outdoor seating. Family bathrooms and larger restrooms will be added next to the food pavilion.

In addition to the renovated food area, more fashion retailers will added to the Mall and two new restaurants adjacent to the food pavilion. There will also be state-of-the-art amenities for customers that will include free Wi-Fi throughout the Mall. A new major entrance to will be created to accommodate food operators and the increased traffic expected.

According to General Manager of Florida Mall, Brian Hanson, the new retail area and food pavilion will be designed so as to create a place at which shoppers and people who work in the area can gather. The new pavilion is expected to open in the spring 2015.
