West Orange recognizes its business best

Now is often the time of year for business awards, and the Big Orange Awards will soon be presented by the West Orange Chamber of Commerce (WOCC) . These awards honor several chamber members, while helping to raise money for their scholarship fund.

The Big Orange Awards feature a reception in which hors d’oeuvres and drinks are served. The awards handed out include the WOCC Business Member of the Year, the Spirit of West Orange Award, Ambassador of the Year, the George Bailey Award, and the Chairman’s Award. All of the award winners have been shown to have a commitment to their community while being successful in business.

This event is also an excellent networking opportunity for businesses in West Orange, including nearby Ocoee. It is likely that many planning to attend will be arranging for business card printing services in advance of the evening. While this is basically a social event in which local business leaders are honoring their business peers, there will still no doubt be time to talk briefly about their own business and to exchange digital business cards.

The Big Orange Awards will take place at the Valencia College West Campus’ Special Event Center in Orlando on February 7 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Tickets are $46 for chamber members or $375 for a table of eight, and $56 for non-members or $450 for a table of eight. All those who plan to attend must RSVP by February 4.
