The Young Professionals 360 (YP360) committee of the Miramar Pembroke Pines Chamber of Commerce holds meeting on the 1st Thursday of each month. The next meeting will take place on January 5 at Hilton Garden in Miramar from 11:30 am-12:30 pm. The theme of the meeting is ‘Young Professionals Growing Forward.’

They YP360 committee is aimed at entrepreneurs and business leaders between the ages of 21 and 45. Younger business men and women often have unique challenges that older, more established leaders do not. The group holds a number of networking events, presents educational opportunities to it members and helps them to enhance their business skills.

Networking is one of the main benefits of YP360. Most of the events are social, such as a recent bowling night, but occasionally they hold events to benefit local and international charities. As with all networking events in Miramar or Pembroke Pines, business cards are a must. While there has been talk of replacing physical cards with digital business cards , this is still far from the norm. There is an iPhone app for businesses card where users can exchange cards electronically, but not everyone has an iPhone. Until a truly universal program can be found, physical cards will still continue to be exchanged at networking events. It is recommended that you bring at least 75 cards to each event you attend.

The YP360 committee will not only introduce you to your business peers and potential partners, you might also make some new friends.
