Zoo fundraiser shapes up to be a wild night out

Black Tie on the Wild Side will take place at the Westin Lake Mary on August 18 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. In the past, tickets for this event, which is for those aged 21 and over, have cost $150. All proceeds go to benefit the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

This will be a fun-filled evening for all who plan to attend, with music provided by Blue Stone Circle. The zoo’s animal ambassadors will be visiting and there will also be a silent auction, dancing, an open bar, and a gourmet dinner. There are sponsorship opportunities for local businesses and no doubt they will also be asked to contribute items to the silent auction.
Companies that donate to charities in their community often find out they get more business out of it. Of course, this is not the only reason for helping out with charities, since most companies want to help improve the community in which they are located and be good corporate citizens.

Area printing companies, such as those from nearby Longwood, are likely to be providing the organizers of the event with banner printing and poster printing services. Sponsors will no doubt be recognized throughout the event with banners containing their logo or company name. Events like this sometimes also use posters printing to help to inform the general public and visitors about the upcoming fundraiser.

Zoos provide a necessary service in a community. Most people do not have easy access to wild animals and seeing them up close and personal tends to create understanding and respect. This fundraiser, and others like it, should help to ensure that the zoo will continue to operate in the future.
