Kissimmee goes to the dogs

To most people, their dogs are a part of the family who are often treated as well as their children. Many people also look forward to attending shows which celebrate dogs and which allow them to discover the latest in pet products. One such show in the local area is the Posh Pooch Festival.

This yearly festival celebrates dogs and features many accessories, products, and helpful information about pet health. Some of the festivities this year will include a pet lookalike contest, dog and human fashion shows, and the Celebration Doggie Train. There will also be vendors selling such items as dog clothing, dog food, cages, kennels, toys, and cleaning products. Whatever a dog owner wants for their dog can probably be found at the festival.

In addition, dog owners can learn important information on such things as the health of their dog and local laws that might affect that ownership. It will definitely have something to offer to every dog owner in the area. No doubt the festival will draw dog owners from all over the area, including nearby Kissimmee. It is very likely that organizers will be working with local printing companies to get word out to the surrounding community about this upcoming event, perhaps via such methods as flyer printing.

The Posh Pooch Festival will take place at Lakeside Park and the Celebration Town Center over the weekend of February 23 – 24 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm each day. For more information on this free event, call 407-566-4007.
