The 7th annual Women’s Day Conference will be held at Gator Harley-Davidson on April 7 from 8:30am – 4pm in Leesburg. Tickets are $35 and limited to 120 women.

Women who sign up will receive a continental breakfast and full lunch. Among the events taking place will be a musical tribute to the Blues Brothers, a fashion show of motorcycle wear, a motorcycle clinic, live demonstrations, a photo shoot, giveaways, and vendors. Women can also have their bikes customized. Zumba queen, Gisele, will be making an appearance and women can “learn to ride like a pro.

Vendors at the conference will be selected by the store. They will be selling items for women motorcycle riders and will most likely come from all over the area, including Kissimmee. The items they sell will likely include clothing, helmets, decorative accessories, and services such as insurance. Those vendors would be wise to arrange local printing companies to provide them with items such as catalogs and brochures providing details about their products and services.

There was a time when women were rarely seen riding motorcycles; usually relegated to hanging onto the man driving. However, that has definitely changed. A large number of women now own their own motorcycles. Women are now riding Harley-Davidsons and other large motorcycles. Still, they are often ignored by stores and companies catering to motorcycle riding.

These stores and companies may well be misguided and and Women’s Day Conference will shine a light on the companies willing to make an effort to cater to women motorcycle riders.
