View the art of fellow Jupiter residents

The Town of Jupiter Gallery of Art is presenting an art exhibit at the Jupiter Community Center from March 24 to April 27. Admission is free.

Artists and crafters submit their work for review before being allowed to take part in the exhibit. All genres of arts and crafts are accepted as is photography and sculpture. The opening for the exhibit will take place on March 23 from 6-8 pm; it is free and is open to the public.

The Jupiter Gallery of Art was created in 1993

“to encourage the use of art and promote an attitude of support for the arts within the Town of Jupiter and help establish a spirit of Community.”

It is often hard for new and upcoming artists to get their works shown in public and the Gallery of Art gives those artists a venue to exhibit.

This is just one of three yearly art exhibits presented by the Jupiter Gallery of Art; the next one will be in May. Art is important in drawing a community together; we share in the beauty of the artistic spirit and feel proud that local artists have allowed us to enjoy their works. The exhibit might also be of interest to those who work at graphics and printing companies in Jupiter. They might be inspired by the artwork to create something of their own or they might even find an artist who they would like to work with.
