Support an organization that trains future business women

The fourth annual Smart Women Make Change luncheon will take place at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront on September 26 from 12:00 – 1:30 PM. Tickets are $100 per person; table sponsorships are available from $1,000 to $7,500.

The event is a major fundraiser for JA Girls, a division of Junior Achievement of North Florida. The organization is dedicated to education young women and girls about their finances and to give them hands-on business experience. It also teaches them to make intelligent choices about their academic and career future. The organization is run by volunteers and has chapters in all 50 states.

The keynote speaker for Smart Women Make Change will be Kathleen Murphy of Personal Investing. Those who attend will learn all they need to know about Junior Achievement and how they might be able to help in the future.

This event will also be an excellent networking opportunity for Jacksonville business women and men. Those who plan to attend would be wise to arrange for business card printing services in advance; they will want to be sure they have enough cards to hand out to everyone they meet. It will be a chance to get to know some like-minded business leaders who are dedicated to educating future generations about finance and possibly running their own businesses. It might also be a good place to meet other business leaders who can provide products or services that a business requires to take it to the next level.
