Learn what is new at the TAGA conference

The 64th annual TAGA Technical Conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville-Riverfront from March 18-21. Admission, including hotel stay, is $845 for members of TAGA, $695 for educators, $1045 for non-members and $200-$300 for students.

The Technical Association of the Graphic Arts (TAGA) is:

“recognized worldwide as the most prestigious and comprehensive literature resource for graphics arts sciences and technologies.”

The annual event features the latest industry advances in such things as digital printing, offset printing, packaging, workflow and nanotechnology. The conference draws industry professionals from all over the world providing an excellent chance for the exchange of ideas.

Keynote speakers will include Marc Olin, Steve Simske, Patrice S. Mangin and Mike Puyot. Topics covered will include future development for the print industry, advances in wide format and inkjet printing and how the pulp, forest product and paper industries are coping and renewing themselves in today’s world. There will be several workshops, panels, brainstorming sessions and numerous chances to interact with those industry experts who will not doubt be in attendance. Any students who attend will receive a first-class introduction to the industry they hope to be a part of.

In addition to the speakers, there will be a welcome reception, and awards reception and a semi-formal awards banquet. There will be many chances to network with your Jacksonville and international peers at the conference. Make sure to bring a business card.
