Child-friendly events to raise funds for Arsht Center

The 1st annual Arsht Families Imagination Ball is taking place in Miami in a few days’ time. It is a fundraising event for the Adrienne Arsht Center’s community engagement and arts education programs, especially those aimed at children.

The ball will feature plenty of activities for children and their parents. Kids can take part in arts activities and dance to music played by a DJ. Guests will be served desserts and appetizers to enjoy. The fun begins early with the red carpet, in which families can have their photographs taken, making them feel like celebrities. This is to be followed by a dessert display and a concert from LIVE! Modern School of Music.

The main event is expected to be a performance by David Garibaldi and his CMYKS, performance graffiti artists. Garibaldi was a finalist in the 2012 series of ‘America’s Got Talent.’

Sponsorships are available for the event from $3,000 to $10,000. All sponsors will be mentioned in the printed program and will be listed in all invitations sent out.

Those interested in the arts from all over Miami-Dade, including Hialeah, will likely want to attend this exciting event. Printing companies have no doubt been asked to help provide invitations and the printed programs that everyone who attends will receive.

The Imagination Ball is being held at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County this Sunday, October 6, beginning at 2:00 pm. For more information, including the price of tickets, call 786-468-2020.
