With its full calendar and the refreshing variety of events that it’s offering, the Doral Chamber of Commerce is giving members of the business community plenty of chances to be active participants this month.

The action starts May 18th with Social Media Boot Camp. At this point there’s no denying the fact that the Internet has fundamentally changed the way business is done for many people. In the interests of making sure that managers and company decision-makers have the information that’s needed to make qualified decisions with respect to its online marketing efforts.

After all, digital business cards and an up to date website will only go so far otherwise. Covering everything from Search Engine Optimization to Social Bookmarking sites, this series of workshops is being held over the course of 3 days. Business professionals who are interested in learning about how social media platforms work are advised to be at the Atrium Training Center by 8:30 am.

Another occasion that’s worth staying on the lookout for is the Business Power Luncheon taking place on the 23rd. While practical workshops like the Social Media Boot Camp are definitely a valuable part of the Chamber experience, there’s also something to be said for hosted networking events as well.

Priced at $20 for members of the Doral Chamber and $30 for non-members, business owners and other career-oriented individuals are being encouraged to come out and connect with each other over a fantastic meal. Going from 11:30 am up until 1:00 pm, prospective attendees may want to contact a print company to discuss business card printing.
