Davie Chamber will be active until the New Year

December 8, 2011 by

The Davie Chamber of Commerce has several activities lined up for the month of December.

As was expected, the Golf Classic at Grande Oaks was a fun event. There were sponsorship opportunities that allowed companies to gain exposure through signs, pre-event promotions, and even the golf cart. Print companies were undoubtedly busy doing all the flyer printing, banner printing, and extra printing that was required.

With the December 2nd golf tournament now over and done with, the Davie Chamber of Commerce still has three other activities taking place this month.

Two Members Only Wednesday Networking Group gatherings will be taking place on the 7th and 14th. Local businesspeople will be able to converse with one another while perhaps distributing some business card printing. If nothing else, individuals can use these Networking Groups as an opportunity to expand professionally.

Starting at 8:00 a.m. and ending 9:00 p.m., the first Members Only Wednesday Networking Group will feature Marie Ambrosino of A Plus Apparel. By the same token, The Parent Notebook Magazine’s Lori Swetoha Ortiz will be playing a role in the December 14th Networking Group. Both women have valuable insights they can share with those who are attending.

That said, the Membership Breakfast will be the last event of the month and the year. Hosted at the Signature Grand and sponsored by the Memorial Healthcare System, tickets are going for $15. Starting at 7:30 a.m. and slated to conclude at 9:00 a.m., Chamber members can enjoy a meal together leading up to the holidays.
