Upcoming fair to address local hunger needs

The 39th annual Mission Team Craft Fair is taking place in Coral Springs for two days in October. The Mission Team is an organization helping to feed the hungry and homeless, visit shut-ins, and help foster children in the Coral Springs and Fort Lauderdale areas. A portion of proceeds from this event will go to support these programs.

The fair will feature a wide variety of handmade items for sale, suitable as gifts for friends and loved ones. There will also be baked goods, refreshments, and a yard sale of gently used items. Currently, the fair is looking for vendors to take part, and prices will vary depending on location and whether the booths are indoors or outdoors. It would be a great opportunity for a local artist or crafter to introduce their works to a wider audience. It will also allow them to support a worthwhile cause in their community.

Organizers of the fair are probably working with Coral Springs printing companies to help get ready and to advertise throughout the area. This could involve flyers being widely distributed or posters being hung in various public areas.

The Mission Team Craft Fair will take place at the First United Methodist Church of Coral Springs on October 25 from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, and on October 26 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Admission is free. To learn more about the fair or to become a vendor, contact Mindy O’Brien at 954-304-6136.
