Tampa Boat Show sets sail for the 48th year

The 48th annual Tampa Boat Show is taking place this September.

This popular annual event will be showcasing some of the newest boat models as well as providing lots of activities suitable for the entire family. There will be over 48 boats on display, ranging in size from 36 to 86 feet. There will be guest speakers such as Jonathan Hillstrand from the reality TV show “Deadliest Catch”, boat handling courses, maintenance tips, and a diving pool. Guests will also be able to have rides on power boats and tour the Geico racing boat. Vendors will also be on hand to sell a variety of items, including marine accessories, safety vests, and other items of clothing.

Seminar topics will include tips on how to be economical with your fuel, as well as changing water pumps and carrying out essential maintenance. There will also be plenty of giveaways during the day. This is expected to be the show’s to go to experience when it comes to learning what is new and upcoming in the world of boating.

Visitors will probably flock to the boat show from all over the area, including residents from nearby Brandon. Local printing companies have probably been helping the organizers of the show prepare a variety of marketing materials to spread the word throughout the community.

The Tampa Boat Show will take place from September 6-8 at the Tampa Convention Center. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door; those aged 15 and under are admitted for free. Call 954-441-3220 for more information.
