The Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce has wasted no time in getting its members plenty of opportunities to network and learn in the upcoming days.

Starting right on the 1st of March with “Business and Biscuits” taking place at NHC Place, Anniston business owners are encouraged to arrive with a healthy amount of business card printing so that they can get their networking done in less time. Expected to go from 7:30 am to 8:30 am, the schedule has been made with the convenience of busy professionals in mind. If nothing else, this represents a golden opportunity to get a head start on this month’s networking quota.

Following the “Business and Biscuits” meet-up is Connect @ Lunch on March 14th. For business owners that have ever wondered how social media can completely change the outlook of a company, Connect @ Lunch will be presenting “The Importance of Social Media in Today’s Business World”. As the name would imply, this event is going to begin at noon and end an hour later at 1:00 pm. Going at $10 for members and $20 for non-members with reservations, this is an affordable seminar as well.

With the “Business and Biscuits” event, members of the business community will be able to interact with one another in a no-pressure setting. During the Connect @ Lunch presentation entrepreneurs and other professionals can hear from qualified experts about the value of using social media to build a presence online. Whether looking at regular cards or digital business cards, the Calhoun County Chamber has a suitable occasion to choose from.
