Fall Fest vendors urged to registration soon

September 2, 2018 by

It is almost time once again for Fall Fest, and the city of Alabaster wants to remind vendors that registration is opening soon.

The event is a way for anyone that wants to display their artistic skills and crafts to the community or draw interest in their business. The day will include carnival rides, live music, and plenty of child-friendly activities. One of the draws for visitors is the craft and food tents run by local vendors.

The City of Alabaster is registering vendors during September and will not accept any applications after the deadline date. Registration is free and includes the use of a 15 x 15 booth, but all vendors must have their own tables and chairs. Vendors can offer promotional products, unique handmade items, and more. Business owners that work for a national organization like Avon or Tupperware need to register early because the organizers will allow only one representative per company.

The registration period opens on Tuesday, September 4 and runs through September 28. Vendors can fill out the application anytime online or during business hours as a walk-in at the Alabaster Parks and Recreation Office at 7305 Highway 119 in Alabaster. The office is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays. For more information, call the Parks and Rec office at (205) 664-6840.

Alabaster’s popular daylong event takes place at Buck Creek Trail on October 27 this year.
