Chamber closes out June with luncheon

Alabaster professionals have at least a couple of options available to them with the Greater Shelby Chamber of Commerce hosting a communication workshop as well as a luncheon.

This all begins tomorrow, June 27, with the Greater Selby Chamber Luncheon being held. Noted as an excellent networking opportunity in general, another perk which can be associated with these meetings is the quality of the guest speakers. This month’s event is certainly not going to disappoint on either front, with Stephen Black of Impact Alabama giving the presentation. Sitting at a price of $17 for members, $25 for guests, and also showcasing Alabaster businesses this time around, this will be worth a look.

With a title like “The Seven Levels of Communication,” July’s Grow & Go is already projecting to be an information-packed event for everyone who attends. Over the course of this July 12 workshop, Russ Morgan will be discussing the ways in which decision makers can take their companies to the next level without any additional advertising. While partnering with local stationery printers who provide alternative printing services can do a lot to raise awareness, prospective customers look for more in the people with whom they do business. According to Russ Morgan, the difference between a growing business and one in danger of stagnating is generosity.

Starting at 11:00 am and continuing until 1:00 pm, this is one worth circling on the calendar. Priced at just $10 for seating, those who are interested in this one are to be registered before July 10.
