Celebrate America in Alabaster

June 20, 2012 by

As June 30 approaches, thousands of families are preparing for Celebrate America in Veterans Park, Alabaster. The event is a family-friendly celebration of freedom and giving thanks to the military, some of whom have lost their lives for their country. Kingwood Church and the City of Alabaster will collaborate for the third consecutive year to showcase Celebrate America.

In 2011, more than 10,000 people attended the event, according to estimates provided by state police. A host of entertainment is lined up from 6:00 pm till 9:30 pm, when the highlight of the evening takes place in the form of a huge fireworks display organized by Pyro Productions. The event is free of charge, with people only having to pay for vendors. KIDZONE proved to be extremely popular in the last couple of years and returns this year to provide rides and inflatables for children aged 11 or below.

Teenagers will not miss out as Games2U will be providing Outdoor Laser Tag, Giant Hamster Balls, and other interactive games. Refreshments are available from a variety of vendors at the event. A big screen will display family entertainment, while live music will be on the stage from 7:00 pm, all before the grand finale fireworks display.

The organizers of the event will probably use the services of local printers for poster printing services, although there is no doubt that the evening will be popular. Officials of Alabaster and local law enforcement officers will work together with Kingwood Church and the many volunteers to make Celebrate America a huge success.
