Alabaster residents get another chance to solve winery mystery

December 5, 2018 by

The Murder at the Winery transformed Corbin Farms Winery into a 1920s speakeasy for one weekend in November. The event proved so popular, the organizers decided to schedule another weekend of suspense.

The performers will entertain the attendees with a suspenseful mystery later this month, and encourage all to take part in the event.

Admission to the dinner theater includes the theatrical performance, two glasses of wine of the guest’s choice, and a full four-course professionally prepared dinner. The meals include hors-d’oeuvres, salad, a choice of entrée, and a choice of dessert. The complete menu will be released when it is finalized before the event. Bottles of wine are available through the dinner and performance at a 20% discount. Glasses of wine will be $5 each throughout the night.

The organizers would like all attendees to wear prohibition-era clothing if possible, but they are not required to do so for admission.

The Murder at the Winery will take place on Friday, December 14 and Saturday, December 15 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The tickets are $60 per person. Consider them for an early Christmas or corporate gift. Corbin Farms Winery is found at 800 County Road 87 in Calera. Tickets for the event, for whichever night is preferred, can be booked on the Eventbrite website.
