Sommerville area winter farmers’ market set to return for another year

December 20, 2017 by

Even thought the chill of winter has arrived in Somerville, the public can still access a variety of locally grown produce and many other products at an area farmers’ market.

The popular Bridgewater Farmers Market will be open to the public on the third Friday of every month throughout the winter, and it will offer a wide selection of items for the public to browse trough and buy. Everything from meat to mushrooms will be available for purchase, and there will also be a wide assortment of locally made baked goods, seafood, pottery and other handcarts and many other products as well.

To help give a festive air to the day, live music will be performed, and everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Signs, banners and other marketing materials for this type of event can be sourced from a printer in the local area.

The organizers of the market noted that the weekly summer market would be back starting in June. Anyone who would like to act as a vendor can contact EmPoWER Somerset (908) 722-4900 for more details about how to do so.

The winter farmers’ market will run until March 18th, and it will be located at 1 Vogt Drive in Bridgewater. Those who are interested in finding out more can do so by visiting its Facebook page.
