Somerville asked to show its generous side

November 27, 2017 by

To help a Somerville area resident with his medical expenses, his friends have organized a fundraising evening of music and other entertainment that will be open to the public.

The event, which is being held in honor of Ed Quispe, will offer three hours of musical fun. Area residents are invited to come out and kick up their heels to the tunes while they enjoy the occasion with friends old and new. Anyone who would like to purchase a drink will be able to do so at the cash bar that will be open for the event.

To help maximize the impact of the occasion, the organizers have included an even split draw and other fundraising efforts on the agenda for the party. The proceeds from the sale of entry tickets, the 50/50 draw, and the “money tree” drawing will be donated to the Quispe family to help in his battle against cancer. The function will be taking place in Bridgewater’s American Legion, which is located at 77 Old York Road, and the tickets are $20 each. To help ensure this type of an event is a success, a local printing company can work with the planners to supply an assortment of promotional products.

This Saturday, December 2 has been chosen as the date for this fundraiser, which will begin at 7:00 pm. Anyone who is interested in finding out more can do so by viewing its online event listing.
