Pressure will soon be on near Snellville

Using a pressure cooker can be a way to create meals quickly, and a Snellville area event will give both enthusiasts and those who are new to this type of cooking chance to sample an assortment of dishes.

The Omega Support Services Center has organized a pressure cooker pot luck dinner, and everyone who is interested is welcome to join in the fun. Each person who plans on taking part is asked to bring a batch of their favorite recipe, along with a printout of the ingredients and techniques used.

Non-alcoholic beverages and utensils will be provided, and there will be lots of time for the guests to socialize and enjoy one another’s company while their share their cooking secrets. At the end of the night, the attendees will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite dish, and the winner will receive both bragging rights and a small prize that has been selected for the occasion. A local print company can use binding techniques to create bound copies of books of the different recipes that are brought to an event like this.

This mixer, which will shine a spotlight on pressure cooking, has been planned for 6670 James B. Rivers Drive in Stone Mountain. Its event listing includes more information about the function and an opportunity to purchase tickets for anyone who would like to take part.
