Farmers’ Market to offer fresh produce in Snellville

The Snellville Farmers’ Market will soon be opening its gates for another year, offering fresh produce and other locally produced items to the public.

The market, which will be open every Saturday from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm, will feature vegetables, fruit and other food products grown on area farms, as well as handcrafts and other locally sourced goods and ready-to-eat food. Those who come out can browse through the displays and booths while they purchase produce that has often been picked the same day it is offered for sale.

The market’s organizers noted that in 2013, it was voted number one in the state during the I Love My Farmers’ Market event, which was hosted by the American Farmland Trust, adding that it brings people together from across the area, and can help to build a sense of community spirit. Banner printing can be utilized by those who plan events such as this to produce various decorations that can help to draw attention and ensure it is a success.

The opening day for the Snellville Farmers’ Market has been set for June 3, and it will be located directly in front of City Hall. It will run into September, and more information, including a list of special activities that have been planned, can be found on its website.
