Massachusetts and New Hampshire speedways join forces

The Monadnock Speedway in New Hampshire and its new Open Wheel touring series will be joining the lineup at the Seekonk Speedway next year.

Gary Knight of the Modified Touring Series commented that the series is both excited and honored to be part of the tradition of family racing at the Seekonk Speedway in 2017. He hopes that this is an event that will become an annual one in future years

Director of Competition at Seekonk Speedway, David Alburn, added that some new ideas in racing are being proposed by the Modified Touring Series, and the Speedway recognizes its long-term potential. This open wheel event will be the first in the series for next year, to be followed by Open Wheel Wednesday and then by the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.

The mission of the Modified Touring Series is to bring programs to race tracks in New England that are both enjoyable and entertaining for fans, and that benefit the teams supporting the series.

The Modified Touring Series at the Seekonk Speedway will be taking place on June 10, 2017. The two speedways might want to collaborate on poster printing, creating items that can be displayed at both speedways announcing the event so as to attract as many people as possible to this inaugural occasion, and highlight other new initiatives.
