Though the cold of winter has arrived, Schenectady beer lovers have been offered an opportunity to beat the chilly weather.

The Great Nor’easter Winter Beer Fest will bring together 25 or more area breweries that will be serving up an assortment of their best brews. Along with this, the attendees will have a chance to meet with the people behind the ales, stouts, lagers, IPAs, and other beers they enjoy.

Along with the “suds”, an assortment of local food vendors and crafters will be on site for the afternoon. The eventgoers can browse through what they have on offer, and Crazy Swedes will be providing the entertainment to keep the crowd warmed up and in a party mood.

A variety of ticket choices have been made available, and those who are interested in taking part can choose the one they feel is best for them. Designated driver tickets are also on offer. These include unlimited soft drinks, which can be obtained from the Renaissance Restaurant on the venue’s lower level. Logo design and other print services for its type of function can be provided by a print company.

This opportunity for Schenectady beer lovers to come in from the cold will be taking place in Renaissance Hall, which is located at 820 Eastern Avenue. Its event listing includes more details and a chance register to take part in the afternoon’s activities.
