Night of improv entertainment planned for Schenectady

November 7, 2017 by

Schenectady’s The Mopco Improv Theater has organized an event that will give area comedians, actors, and anyone else who is interested a chance to exercise their comedic muscles.

Dubbed ‘Improv Jam’, the evening will offer what the organizers call a hybrid of a show, class, and party. Both experienced professionals and those who are just starting out are welcome, and it has been planned to be a fun time for everyone who participates.

Those who attend the Jam will be able to jump in to as many of the games as they wish, or if they prefer, they can sit back, relax, and take in the show. A café will be set up where attendees can grab a drink or a bite to eat while they enjoy the games and skits.

The event is open to anyone who is 16 or older, and the ticket price is $5 each. Those who are younger are welcome to participate in one of the organizers youth improvisation jams. Poster printing can be utilized to create an assortment of promotional materials for an evening of entertainment such as this.

This evening of casual comedy will be taking place at The Mopco Improv Theatre, which is located at 10 North Jay Street in Schenectady. Anyone who has questions or would like additional details has been asked to contact shows@mopco.org or hey@mopco.org.
