Residents in Santa Rosa are donning their 10-gallon hats and putting on their cowboy boots in anticipation of the Country Summer 2017 music festival. The three-day event features big headliners, local bands, shopping and more.

The celebration has earned a reputation as the biggest country music festival in Northern California, bringing in over 27,000 people last year, with more expected this year.

Major headliners for the event include Darius Rucker, Ned Ledoux, Randy Houser, CAM, Montgomery Gentry, Clare Dunn, and A Thousand Horses. A second stage will also be set up featuring an as yet unannounced lineup of local acts.

Alongside the concert, the fest will also have a marketplace selling custom drinkware, T-shirts, hats, and other merchandise for Country Summer, as well as vendors offering local crafts, clothing, jewelry, and also food and beverages including beer and wine. An air-conditioned VIP area will also be available with a cash bar, games, and a complimentary buffet-style meal. The VIP area will also share space with the Froggy lounge, where the radio station 92.9 will interview some of the performers.

Country Summer 2017 will take place on June 16, 17, and 18 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, located at 1350 Bennett Valley Rd. Tickets range from $79 to $139 depending on seating preferences. For more information, go to the website.
