Santa Rosa fair less than two weeks away

July 22, 2017 by

When it comes to fun, Santa Rosa’s Sonoma County Fair has lots to offer, and it will soon be back in the community for another year.

The festivities will have lots to see and do, with something to appeal to all ages. There will be a Mardi Gras Parade, and visitors can try out their best “pirate speak” during Talk Like a Pirate Day. Those who love the beauty of flowers will likely find themselves drawn to The Hall of Flowers, and there will be live entertainment, carnival style rides and games, a rodeo, and monster trucks.

The younger set can get to meet some lorikeet parrots up close during the Lorikeet Encounter, learn more about reptiles, watch a livestock show, play games, and sample some of the food that will be available for purchase.

An assortment of ticketing options is available, depending on what sorts of activities a person is interested in and how long they plan on staying. A local printer can supply printed activity guides, brochures and other items that can help the public to get the most from their visit to the festivities.

The Sonoma County Fair Will run from August 3 until 13 at the fairgrounds, which are located at 1350 Bennett Valley Rd. Anyone who is interested in finding out more can do so by heading to the Visit Santa Rosa website.
