Co-working company sets up Sandy Springs presence

Industrious, a company that provides co-working spaces, has signed a lease at 7000 Central Park in Sandy Springs, and CBRE Global Investors has leased a full floor comprising 28,000 square feet from it. The lease is for a period of 12 years.

A co-working space is a shared work environment – typically an office or office-like area – where people share amenities and resources, but do not usually work for the same company. Independent contractors, people who work at home, and those who travel frequently often find co-working spaces are conducive to productivity, since they eliminate the isolation such people may feel. This is the fifth co-working space Industrious has created in the Atlanta area.

Industrious’s co-founder and president, Justin Steward, said the combination of the amenities usually found in an urban area, but in a suburban setting, drew the company to Sandy Springs. He explains his company seeks to provide an inspiring workplace for professionals, and believes the renovations and upgrades recently made to 7000 Central Park building dovetailed perfectly with Industrious’s mission.

The space Industrious is providing has room for approximately 200 members, from Fortune 500 companies to small concerns. It also offers community events for people working in the building.

Companies like this might like to work with a brochure printing company to create illustrated brochures that show the concept to prospective users.
