San Rafael invited to “go green” during St. Patrick’s Day celebration

February 25, 2018 by

This March, the San Rafael area will take on a taste of Ireland during a St. Patrick’s Day-themed event.

The 2018 celebration will mark the 23rd year for the annual Fairfax Brewfest and St. Patrick’s Day Party, and it will be bringing together craft beer lovers from all over. It will be hosted by Iron Springs Pub and Brewery, and is brought to the community, in part, through the support of the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce.

The occasion will feature 70 different beers, ales, and other libations crafted by 24 regional and local breweries. Brewmasters and other staff will be on hand to pour the beers and meet with the crowd, and some of their offerings will only be available for tasting at this event.

A special VIT (very important taster) pass is available to the first 100 who purchase a ticket to participate in the day. These will grant the holder early entry to the occasion. All ticket holders will be given unlimited tastings and a souvenir tasting glass, as well as a memento of the event. Items like this can be crafted by an area printing services provider.

Saturday, March 17, has been chosen as the date for this occasion, and it will be hosted at the Fairfax Pavilion. The event’s listing includes additional details for anyone who wants to find out more.
