San Rafael information session planned for local senior assistance

April 26, 2018 by

Marin Villages is a group that helps older adults in San Rafael, and the surrounding communities stay in their homes as long as possible, and it has organized an information session that will provide more details about what it is all about.

The event, which will take place over the noon hour in the San Rafael Civic Center Library, will be open to anyone who is interested. Those who participate will discover the different programs the organization has to offer, and also what they can do to help.

Marin Villages provides everything from dog walking to a referral service, but it was noted that it relies upon the assistance of volunteers and other community members to do so. It currently serves seven different communities including San Rafael, and anyone who would like to find out more about the one in their area is welcome.

Along with the volunteers, the session is open to those who would like to join the group as a member. Those who come out will have an opportunity to find out what benefits membership can provide, as well as what fees and other responsibilities are associated with this. Brochure printing can be used to create materials for distribution during this type of function.

The Marin Villages info session will be taking place on May 4. Anyone who has questions has been asked to contact 415-473-6058.
