Office 365 is a suite of office programs and apps developed by Microsoft, and a class has been planned for San Rafael that will give those who participate a chance to learn more about how they can use it in their own home or workplace.

Those who attend the session will receive instruction in how to get the most from the software, and an assortment of topics will be covered. They include using some of the most popular aps, how to use web based Outlook email, how to set up folders, attach files and more. There will also be a discussion of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other software. An introduction to One Drive for business, which is a cloud based storage system will also be included in the agenda for the day. Digital copying can be used to produce copies of brochures and other training materials for a workshop such as this.

The training, which is geared towards businesses that use the Office 365 suite of tools, will be held in the Marin County Office of Education. It is scheduled to run from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm, and it is being offered to the community on a free of charge basis.

October 19th has been chosen as the date for this information session, and more details. It is one of several computer related workshops that will be offered in the community.
