The Marin Society of Artists has two new shows coming up that will be of interest to San Rafael residents.

The ‘Atmospheric Wonders’ Art Show will be running for the entire month of March. A show for members of the Marin Society of Artists, its pieces were chosen by Stephanie Jucker.

The works of art will illustrate the interaction between the earth and the sky. The opening reception is set to take place this Friday, March 10 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.

Next month, A Sculpture Exhibition opens at the Society. This celebration of International Sculpture Day takes place on April 24. This show is open to artists from around the country who are 18 and over, and the juror is Jeff Owens. The sculptures can be anything from glass to fiber to stone. A celebration party for the exhibit will be held on April 14 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.

Receptions for both of these shows coincide with San Rafael’s 2nd Friday ArtWalk. Graphic design professionals from San Rafael may be interested in either of these shows and may get some inspiration in their own work.
