Memorial Day Weekend will usher in Sacramento’s car shows season.

Bugorama will showcase Volkswagen Beetles at their very best. During the car show, DLG VW judges will choose the ‘Top 25’ and each of the winners will receive an award. Other activities will include a swap meet and drag racing.

Karmecca will have its show on Sunday. Over three hundred entries of modified automotive builds are expected. Local automotive-themed vendors, services, and businesses will be on hand to exhibit and sell their products, discuss their services and hand out business cards and information flyers.

The California Automobile Museum will be hosting its annual Memorial Day Car Show. There will be music, a military color guard, a singing of the National anthem, and car-theme vendors. Cars will be judged in categories such as best Veteran-Owned and Best Corvette. New this year will be the Kids’ Judging activity. The day will begin with coffee and donuts followed by registration. Over the next three hours entries will be judged and the winners will be announced at noon.

Bugorama will be May 27 at the Sacramento Race Way Park, 5305 Excelsior Road. Gates open at 7:00 am.

The Karmecca Sacramento Car Show is scheduled for the same day from noon to 6:00 pm at 2300 Front Street.

The Memorial Day Car Show will be at the California Automobile Museum, 2200 Front Street, on May 28 from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.
