Rotary Club of North Sacramento Foundation has golf fundraiser

December 27, 2016 by

The Rotary Club of North Sacramento Foundation will be having its annual fundraiser here in Roseville next month.

Professionals to novices will be challenged on the multilevel high-tech driving range. Pros will appreciate that the venue has balls that contain microchips and targets that have sensors.

Those who prefer not to play golf can still enjoy the TV, videos games, music, and a golfing bay on a pay-per-swing basis. Spectators may want to bring banners to cheer on their favorite golfers.

It will also be possible to sponsor either a Sac State Rotaract Club Member or a Grant High School Interact Club Member to play golf that day. Of course, donations to the Rotary Club of North Sacramento Foundation will also be appreciated.

Proceeds from the raffle and ticket sales will go to fund community service projects that the Rotary Club of North Sacramento sponsors. These include high school leadership camp, student scholarships, dictionaries for third graders and funding the Oak Park Rotary House for families, with children being treated at US Davis Medical Center.

The event is slated for Monday, January 16, 2017 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at Topgolf, 1700 Freedom Way, Roseville. Parking will be free. Registration includes the BBQ Buffet, awards, and golfing. Tickets can be purchased for just the buffet. Registration will be $100 and buffet-only tickets will be $65.
