Rockville Centre area scholarship fundraiser planned

March 27, 2018 by

An event has been planned for Rockville Centre in support of the Crissy L. Delakas Memorial foundation, and those who participate will be helping local students in their pursuit of a postsecondary education.

The fundraiser, which will be held at Maple Lanes, will see the public bowl on their own or as part of a team. The team bowl tickets reserve a lane for up to six players, while the single ticket option has been arranged for those who would like to lend a hand but do not have a set group to participate with.

To help make the most of the occasion, the organizers are offering an opportunity to any local businesses or individuals who would like to do even more. Sponsorships are available for $200, and those who would like to do so will have their name and logo seen by all who take part. Monetary donations from anyone who would like to help but cannot attend in person will also be most appreciated. Promotional products that help to get the word out to the local community about an event like this can be sourced from a professional printer.

The event is held in memory of Crissy Delakas, who was a teacher at John Adam’s High School and who passed away unexpectedly. The monies raised will help students to meet their college or university expenses. The fundraiser has been planned for May 12, and further details can be obtained by contacting CLDMfdn@gmail.com.
