Reno beginner podcast workshop planned

February 24, 2018 by

As podcasts become more popular, an increasing number of people are becoming interested in learning how to start one of their own, and a Reno workshop will equip them with knowledge they can use to do so.

The class, which the organizers have planned for be suitable for beginners, may be of interest to businesses, organizations, and individuals. It will be led by Chris Webster, who has been creating podcasts of his own since 2012.

Those who attend the event will learn about the equipment they need to produce high-quality content. They will also receive tips about how to engage their listeners and ways they can use podcasts to promote a business or group. At the end of the two-hour long class, each participant will walk away with the knowledge they need to release their very first podcast episode.

This learning opportunity is being offered for free to Reno Collective members, while the general public is asked to pay $10. Everyone is welcome, and a printing services company will be able to provide copies of handouts and other materials to give to each of the students, so that they can continue to work on their content at home.

The Reno Collective, which is located at 1515 Plumas Street will be the location for this event. It will be held on April 16, and anyone who needs more details can access them on its website.
