An annual event located near Reno is set to return for another season, and it will offer an assortment of activities that celebrate local agriculture and artisans.

The 39 North Marketplace, which takes place in Sparks, is a farmers’ market that also includes many other special attractions. There is something for all ages, and each week will be a little bit different.

Those who come to the market will be able to buy produce fresh off the farm, and there will also be food demonstrations that can provide them with inspiration for how they can add it to their menus. A variety of artisans will be displaying their works, and music and dancing are also on the agenda.

The younger folks in the crowd will be invited to participate in educational and creative activities that have been planned with them in mind, and there will be plenty of free parking. The weekly markets will open starting at 4:00 pm and will shut down for the night at 9:00 pm. A printer can supply business cards and other materials for any farmers or artisans to distribute to those who ask for their contact details during an event like this.

The 39 North Marketplace is set to start its 2018 schedule on June 7. A complete listing of its other dates, along with further details, can be found by visiting its website.
