Redmond invited to hop to it during annual race

February 24, 2018 by

It will soon be time to hop into spring during a race that will be held in Redmond.

Whether they run, walk, roll, or hop, area individuals and families are all invited to join in the fun of the 2018 Beat the Bunny 5K. There will also be a free Kids’ Dash, where the younger folks can strut their stuff in an event planned just for them.

A new course has been chosen for this year, and the newly opened Redmond Community Center in Marymoor Village will serve as both the start and finish line. All levels of ability are welcome to take part in this family friendly day, and those who “beat the bunny” will win a prize.

Anyone who would like to participate in the 5K is asked to register to do so ahead of time, and they will each receive a specially designed T-shirt. A local printer can be called upon to supply promotional products such as this. Children who will be taking part in the kids’ dash are not required to register ahead of time, and the runners will have an opportunity to take home a prize too.

March 24 is the date that has been chosen for this bunny-themed day of fun. Anyone who would like to sign up, or who needs more details, has been asked to visit the Redmond website.
