Redmond information session to explore post-secondary planning

April 23, 2018 by

When choosing which university or college to attend, the financial side of the equation can be an important consideration, and a Redmond event will provide some insight into how to make the decision a little bit easier.

The Redmond Library will be the location for an information session that will explore the process of applying to a college or university, including ways to meet the cost of tuition and other expenses. A representative of Crystal Clear College Planning will be providing this information, and it is geared towards high school students and their families.

Several topics will be covered during the event, and there will be a focus on ways a scholar can increase their chances of obtaining a grant, scholarship, and other financial aid. Tips will also be shared about the questions to ask an institution before a student applies and why it is important to make an application on a timely basis.

The session is set to run for approximately 1.5 hours, and there is no charge to attend. Print shops can provide presentation folders that can be filled with information to give to each family who comes to an occasion like this.

May 3 will be the date for this discussion that can help high school students and their families prepare for the future, and it will be held at 15990 North East 85th Street in Redmond. Additional details are available on the planner’s Facebook listing.
