Redmond area festival the big cheese this spring

April is National Grilled Cheese Month, and the Redmond area will be getting a jump start on the fun during the 2nd Annual Grilled Cheese Grand Prix.

More than 30 different sandwich offerings will be available for the public to sample, and they can wash it all down with beers, ales, stouts, wines, ciders, and other beverages crafted by establishments throughout the area. Along with the alcoholic beverages, an assortment of soft drinks and other choices will be on offer. While they enjoy the food and drinks, guests will have time to socialize and enjoy the atmosphere of the occasion.

The organizers noted that in an effort to help make sure that the attendees get the most from the occasion, a variety of ticket options are available. A family friendly session is included in the schedule, and some of the tickets also include a souvenir tote bag designed for the festivities. Ad specialties like this can be sourced from a local printing services provider. The tickets are for entry plus drink tokens, and the sandwiches themselves can be purchased for $5 each.

Seattle’s Magnuson Park Hangar 30 will be serving as the venue for this salute to grilled cheese, and it will be held on March 30 and 31. More details about the occasion can be found on the event’s Facebook listing.
