Redding has one last summer music fling

The Allegory Music Festival, hosted by the Formation Dance Company, will be coming later this month.

This will be the festival’s inaugural coming out party and may be the last Northern California music festival before Florida’s universities and colleges start their fall semesters.

The lineup for this year will be DJs Bucky Dun Gun Ojay. Other entertainment will be provided by Gringo the Band who will be playing its new release ‘The Shores’, and California’s own Rossy Etbauer. Fans will be checking with the performers to see if they have any promotional products for sale, such as promotional drinkware, visors, beverage insulators, and T-shirts.

The Formation Dance Company will be showcasing its stars as they perform hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, ballet, and tap. A nonprofit charitable organization here in town will receive one dollar for every ticket sold.

The Allegory Music Festival will be Saturday, August 19, starting at 6:00 pm and ending after midnight, at the Win-River Resort & Casino, 2100 Redding Rancheria Road, Redding.

Tickets can be purchased online. General Admission Floor (which has no seating) will be $20, while stadium seating will run at $25, and balcony seating will be $30. This event is only for those 21 and over, and those interested should note that tickets will not be available at the door if they are all sold online.
