Navion and NorthView join forces for development

Navion Senior Solutions of Raleigh has teamed up with NorthView Partners to buy approximately eight acres of land, at a cost of approximately $3.9m, to put up a new development on St. Albans Drive.

The new project is called The Reserve at North Hills, and is a senior living community comprising 189 units. NorthView and Navion plan another senior project in Apex that will provide 152 housing units. The partners have recently closed on the financing, which is set at $40m. The Apex complex will be called The Reserve at Mills Farm.

Navion’s Arick Morton said construction on the Raleigh development should start in Spring 2018, with the facility expected to open in 2020. This will put the Raleigh opening four or five months behind the opening of the Apex facility.

The Reserve at North Hills will be a five-story building and includes units for independent living, as well as some for memory care and others for assisted living. Other amenities in the project include a gourmet cafe, a movie theater, and an indoor aquatic center. There is a greenway nearby for those who want to spend time outdoors. Morton says the new project will have approximately 100 permanent employees.

Projects like this can benefit if developers work with a brochure printing company to create illustrated brochures that help potential residents visualize the environment and its amenities.
