Glendale church schedules pancake breakfast

February 13, 2014 by

Glendale’s First Presbyterian Church plans to hold a pancake breakfast to help those in need this weekend.

The breakfast is an annual event at the church. The menu features an array of hearty breakfast foods including biscuits and gravy, ham, pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit, hot apple sauce, orange juice, coffee, tea, and milk – meaning there will be plenty to satisfy the stomachs of people whether they are fond of pancakes or not.

The admission is $6 for adults, plus one can of food to be donated to the Valley Interfaith Food and Clothing Center. Children from the ages of six through twelve are $3 and children under five are free. Reservations are available through the church offices, by phone or email. All monies raised at the breakfast go to support the church’s, while the canned goods will all go to Valley Interfaith, located in Lockland.

The breakfast is slated for this Saturday, February 15, from 8:00 to 11:00 am. First Presbyterian is located at 155 East Fountain Avenue in Glendale, approximately 16 miles from Cincinnati. People interested in reserving a place can call the church at 513-771-6195.

The church might consider working with a flyer printing company to create handouts about the event. They could be distributed by hand shortly before the breakfast to create interest and excitement about it.
