Upcoming fundraiser provides home for women

The Embracing Hope gala is taking place next month, raising funds for the Nest Maternity Home located in nearby St. Michael.

The evening will get started with a reception and silent auction, and will be an opportunity for local business and community leaders to make connections or discuss ways to help the home. It will be followed by a sit-down dinner and a short program where guests will learn all about the facility and what it does to help women.

Sponsors can purchase a table of eight for $245. They will be recognized at the event, where their business logo design will be on display, and receive verbal recognition during the evening’s program.

The Nest Maternity Home is an organization that houses women who become unexpectedly pregnant and who are in their first or second trimester. In addition to having a place to stay, they are provided with support for any choices they make after the child is born. The organization routinely publishes a donation wish list of needed supplies.

It is likely this gala will attract people from around the area, including those from Princeton. To advertise, organizers may invest in flyer printing services.

The Embracing Hope gala will be held in the Chamber Room at St. Michael City Hall on May 5 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Tickets are $35 each. Contact Cristal McClain at 651-403-0146 for more information.
