Craft brandy to be featured during Princeton tasting event

June 29, 2017 by

More and more people from Princeton are discovering the unique flavors of craft distilleries, with brandy being no exception. A special tasting event has been planned that will give them an opportunity to sample some for themselves.

Copper and Kings, which is a distillery based in Louisville Kentucky’s Butchertown, will be the focus of the event. Staff will be pouring some American Craft Brandy for the public to sample, which was produced using small batch distillation methods. According to the event’s organizers, the brandy has been selected for its high level of quality, and it has been allowed to mature in bourbon barrels from Kentucky, as well as oak barrels that have a medium char. This results in a beverage with a smooth finish and a high level of complexity.

As alcohol will be served, this free event is open to those who are age 21 and over. Along with the tasting, those who stop by will have an opportunity to learn more about the brandy, as well receive suggestions for pairings and other information. Brochures that give more information about the products being featured can printed by a local printer for use during a function such as this.

The Copper and Kings sampling event will be held at Princeton Wine and Spirits on July 20 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The store is located at 1901 5th Street North.
