Annual expo showcases area businesses

February 4, 2017 by

The 32nd annual Business and Community Expo is taking place early next month, and is a presentation of the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce.

Over 75 vendors and exhibitors are expected to participate in this year’s expo. This includes local food vendors.

Booths are still available for rental. Business booths are 10 x 10-feet in size and cost $185 for business chamber members and $115 for nonprofit members, or nonmember prices are $225 and $185. Food booths are $75 and $50 for members and $100 and $75 for nonmembers. Additional tables cost an additional $35, as does electricity.

The event is free and open to the general public. There will be door prizes and freebies from the vendors, such as fridge magnets and promotional pens. There will also be gardening tips and live entertainment. Visitors can also get free chair massages and purchase Lucky Duck raffle tickets for a race that takes place in July on the Rum River.

Vendors who are participating in the expo will likely be investing in signage or banners from a Princeton print company to draw attention to their booths.

The Business and Community Expo will be held at the Princeton Middle School on March 4 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. To find out more or to become a vendor, contact the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce at 763-389-1764.
