Woman’s Expo offers a Portland day out

February 3, 2018 by

The Portland Women’s Expo is taking place next month. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Portland Women’s Resource Center.

While the event is aimed at women, men are also encouraged to attend.

Over 450 vendors will be on hand to showcase and sell a variety of products. Included among them will be an indie craft area where local artisans will be selling their handmade items such as jewelry, pottery, and paintings. Guests are encouraged to pick up a passport card to be stamped at each vendor they visit to be entered into a draw.

There will also be lots of pampering at the nail bar, in the massage garden, or at the beauty bar. There are set to be fashion shows, musical entertainment and a Pot O’ Gold draw with $25,000 in prizes to be won.

Other activities include a rock wall, a job recruitment area, and several guest speakers.

Vendor spaces of 10 x 10 feet are available for $479 and sponsorships can be purchased for $3,500, which includes a vendor booth. Sponsors will be recognized on billboards at the front doors, no doubt provided by a local printing company.

The Portland Women’s Expo will be held at the Oregon Convention Center on March 17 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Tickets are $6 in advance or $12 at the door, and all guests receive a swag bag. Call 971-279-2764 for more information.
