Upcoming expo offers advice and pampering to women

The Portland Women’s Expo is taking place next month. It is a presentation of, and raises funds for, the Portland Women’s Expo Foundation.

This year’s funds will go to support the ‘Building Hope’ campaign to build a resource center for women and families.

Experts will be on hand are set to include legal experts, finance professionals, and life coaches. Many of them will be speaking on the Life Stage about topics that are of interest to women. Local companies will also be collecting résumés and interviewing potential employees.

A beauty bar and a massage garden will keep people in good spirits. Food and drink will be available for purchase and there will be plenty of giveaways and prize drawings. In addition, a blood drive will be taking place, and guests can visit the gifting lounge to learn all about nutrition.

The first 2,500 women to enter the show will receive a swag bag that will likely be filled with coupons, samples, and promotional products from Portland companies.

The Portland Women’s Expo will be held at the Oregon Convention Center on March 11. Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for seniors and youth between the ages of 13 and 18, while children 12 and under are admitted free of charge. To find out more about the show, or the Foundation, call 971-279-2764.
